I have to say that when I first met you at Crescent’s Fearless class in Manhattan in 2015, I thought you were a native New Yorker.

I take that as a complement. My family were and are New Yorkers through and through, though some have scattered elsewhere and the generations before mine are gone now...

I find myself on a similar journey. We recently left Maine after 8 years for my ability to find better health care in my wife's hometown in Alabama. Coastal Maine is a liberal strong hold, whilst Alabama is ultra red. So we will see how well I do with adapting to this culture again. I am a Michigander by birth, and still have a longing to return there. So maybe we will do both; Alabama in the winter and Michigan in the summer. Time will tell. Good luck on your new adventure.
